MOH talk

Went for the MOH talk last Friday evening, and was 'bribed' into attending the talk with a lavish meal from Cafe Kowloon and BBQ city, comprising of honey chicken, squid, fried chicken, stew pork, char siew, soy sauce chicken and roast duck! The tasty tartlets from Michels served as a delicious dessert, completing our 4-course-MOH-experience!

Representatives from MOH came and talked about our job prospects in Singapore, and how we, as foreign trained students, were very much welcomed back into Singapore because the demand for doctors to make up the three pillars of medical care (Service, Education and Research) is very high. -crap-.

On saturday afternoon, went to the bustling EastEnd Markets, a new flea market that is going to be on every saturday. They are showcasing many delightful trinkets, fasinating fashionwear, paintings, tattoos and more! And today being the opening day, there was a live band performing, and various costume characters, such as batman and wonder woman, parading the street. Very interesting.
