Sometimes...

Sometimes, things are not what they seem.
Perception is a very important aspect of man's abilities that sets him apart from other beasts, and can be both a boon and a bane. Perception, and it's subsequent interpretation and analysis, can accurately target and seek solutions in a problem, and just as easily breed over-confidance.
Perception can discover the problem within a problem, or unravel it as simply as a loosely-tied knot.

Perception can reveal the maze of life, or leave you lost in it.

Sometimes, perception is a self-fulfilling prophecy.

and

Sometimes, perception is dangerous.

It leaves us narrow-minded and blind.

Perception is not what it is, but what we believe it to be.
